Alienated

Have you ever experienced complete alienation from somebody you used to know really good or – at least – you thought you did?
Looking in different directions

Rather empty

This one is exclusively for Hendrik.

And this one too. I hope it is frauenfeindlich yet subtle enough.

Feilen

Hendrik, please note that both pictures are made for different reasons, with different intentions and thus differ in style. But you may see why your office was so higly suitable for the project.

Pears do also work

Just to answer one or the other question the last entry may have raised: the pure shape of a fruit is not important. Color, however, is. What about a combination of red and turquoise?

Fresh Fruit Shootin’

What is it with bananas and girls? Do they look good together because the shape of a banana somewhat resembles a, well, you know? Or is it simply fun to have a beautiful girl and fresh fruit together on one picture, colorful and with zest for life (the girl, not the banana which is going to be eaten afterwards)?

Banana

Maybe both views have something. I do not care too much as long as the result is somewhat convincing.

A Walk through the Town

Munich is an amazing town in many respects. One major one of them being the fact that if one is bored he may simply pick up his camera, have a five (or so) minute walk and can come home with a memory card packed with interesting pictures. Not all of them will be pretty though. But, well, is life always pretty? So why should a town be?

Sonja - Lawyer’s Office

This was a shooting in a very familiar location. The office where the pictures were taken is just 20 meters or so away from the place where I spend the best part of the week working or, at least, pretending to do so.

We shot in a lawyer’s office. For the not so German readers: the red book Sonja is throwing here or there is an edition of the German civil code and some other important laws. If you wonder why the thing is so heavy: we just like writing laws. We have so many of them and we are so busy with making them that we have no time to obey. Which is the reason why we need so many lawyers.

For Sonja the whole thing was a home run. She did not have to play anything; she IS a lawyer, a good one. And, well, a good looking one as well.

Brewery Abstraction

I do not drink any alcohol. This, however, does not mean that visiting a brewery can’t be fun. In the opposite. If you happen to be around the town of Aying just make sure to visit the local brewery. There are lots of pipes and tanks and other bizarre looking things that are well worth being pictured.

Of course, you might want to have a sip of the local beer – that can, of course, be tasted – as well.
